Orlok lives in a place where the weather literally can switch from pissing misery to bright sunshine in a matter of ten minutes. It’s like some Truman Show bullshit at times. Because of this he feels he has his own weather machine in the form of the Waitakere hills and the Hauraki Gulf and thus does not need such a futuristic invention.
