Christmas is a time for joy, goodwill to all men and for several celebrities to die off, making some of us wonder if there really is a God and if so, why he is such a sick fucker. Magical imaginary deities aside, Christmas can be a time to reunite with family, forget old rivalries and even decide to settle down and watch a Bond film. Not Die Another Day though as that is quite possibly the worst thing that Lee Tamahori has ever done.
John Wagner and Alan Grant pen an odd script and Ron Smith badly spreads Christmas cheer.
WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT (IN ONE SENTENCE)?:
A perp is pardoned on Christmas Eve
The Warden’s uniform is very odd, featuring a cape with a badge bearing the letters “IB”. The respirator seems to be a clamshell.
WHAT THE DROKK?:
The Judge Warden of the Iso Block is very freakish looking.
All of the prisoners are assembled in a hall- why is this? Can’t the Warden just announce it?
WHAT’S THE ART LIKE?:
Weak. It throws off the story.
HOW MANY LINKS?:
Two because of the concept and the art fuck ups.
