Eamonn and guest Luke Williams AKA Seth, peruse Book 4 of Nemesis The Warlock, The Gothic Empire
Luke (nee Seth), decides that he hasn’t done a potted history for quite a while. So, he takes on his favourite 2000AD character
The guys over at the rather excellent Zarjaz and Dogbreath site have just shared this really cool Hammerstein image from 2000AD artist Clint Langley. I’m a big fan of Mr Langley’s digital art, but this really makes me want to see a pencilled one off from him.
For me though the pic above wasn’t the best part. The best bit was the announcement that they are now going up to three issues a year which is great news both for fans and indie creators with a love for all things 2000AD. The guys run a tight ship and really bring out the best in their contributors so you’re guaranteed a great read. This is how small press should be done and it’s a mark of how good a job they do that real 2000AD writers and artists always seem willing to chip in with work like the pic above.
Anyone who isnt picking these up at cons etc really should do. You won’t be disappointed. Make the most before someone realises how good a job they are doing and poaches them… that or the pressures of putting out three quality issues a year causes them to jump off something really tall (not Al Ewing).
